Transparency

We understand people have different privacy concerns. Our goal is to be clear about what information we collect and how we may use it.

 

Information we collect

We collect information to provide better services to our customers.

We collect information in two ways:

  • Information you provide us. For example, when you to sign up an account or register your product. When you do, we’ll ask for personal information, like your name, email address, telephone number and other information we may use to help us identify products our customers need in the future.

  • Information we get from your use of our website or when you contact us. We may collect information when you visit our website or contact us by email or phone. This information includes:

  • Log information

When you use website, we may automatically collect and store certain information. This may include:

  • Details of how you used our website, such as to placing an order, or downloading a file.

  • IP Address, what type of browser you use, and how long you visited our website.

  • Telephone number, name, and other information provided.

How we use information we collect

We use the information we collect from our website and otherwise to maintain, and improve our product offerings and services.    When you contact American Radar, we may keep a record of your communication to help solve any issues you might be facing with your product(s). Additionally, we may use your email address to inform you about our products, such as letting you know about upcoming product releases or improvements.

Information we share

We do not share personal information with companies, organizations and individuals outside of American Radar except for the following reasons:

  • For external processing

We will provide personal information to other trusted businesses or persons if they process certain orders and services for us.  Our employees, contractors and agents are subject to strict contractual confidentiality obligations and may be disciplined or terminated if they fail to meet these obligations.

  • For legal reasons

We will share personal information with companies, organizations or individuals outside of American Radar if we have a good-faith belief that access or disclosure of the information is reasonably necessary to:

  • meet any applicable law or regulations.  

  • detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud or security issues.

  • protect against harm to the rights, property or safety of American Radar Company or our customers as required or permitted by law.

We may share aggregated, non-personally identifiable information publicly and with our partners. For example, we may share information publicly to show trends about the general use of our products.

If American Radar is involved in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, we will continue to ensure the confidentiality of any personal information and give affected customers notice before personal information is transferred or becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

Changes

Our Privacy Policy may change from time to time.  We will post any privacy policy changes on this page.
